Tundra
I followed footprints in snow
Just to see where they’d go
In the hopes that they’d lead me to you
But when the flurries got stronger
I walked a bit longer
Unsure, if lost, what to do
So I’ll risk the frost bite
In the slim chance I’m right
To, mayhaps, find someone brand new
But until I find cover
Even without a warm lover
My heart won’t be the only thing blue
