Two Circles and a Crescent

All it takes to draw a face
Are two Circles and a Crescent.

But depending on who you ask to draw,

That face can have a smile
Or a frown.

Even if the components never change.

And it’s the same for the truth.

There are some excuses we’re told that are meant to spare our feelings.

You don’t need to lie or change how you feel.
Just tell me honestly,
And acknowledge
That even though you’re drawing a smile,

And find a way
