Zeus Hid When the Storm Began

For the thunder sounded like his Mother,
Angry at what he did

And the howling winds uttered hurtful words
While his home was bombarded by spiteful rain
Trying it’s best
To soak him in shame

Zeus hid when the storm began

Because as long as he stayed inside
He felt like he had control

Because as long as he stayed alone
He felt like he could heal

Becuase as long as he stayed away
He felt like he could spare the world
Any more trouble
